BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPORT APPEAL Generation Hope International School and Orphanage (GEHISCO) As we prepare for the reopening of School, we humbly appeal to You to support the Children of Generation Hope International School and Orphanage (GEHISCO). GEHISCO currently has 150 Children in School, with 65 Children living at the Orphanage Home. Our Mission is to ensure that every Child, regardless of their background or Circumstances, has access to Education, Food, Love, Care and an Opportunity to build a better future. At GEHISCO: There are no School Fees. Exercise Books, Pens and Pencils are provided Free of charge. Breakfast and Lunch are provided for the Children. We provide a Safe and Caring Environment for Orphans and Vulnerable Children. We are Committed to giving every Child an Opportunity to discover their potential and become responsible members of Society. However, providing these necessities for so many Children requires continuous support. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT We are currently appealing for support in the following areas: 1. Food Stuff Rice, Cooking Oil, Beans, Maize, Gari and other Food items. 2. Educational Materials Exercise Books, Pens, pencils, erasers, school bags, textbooks and other learning materials. 3. School Uniforms and Clothing Uniforms, Shoes, Sandals and Clothing for the Children. 4. Mattresses and Bedding Mattresses, Bedsheets, Blankets, Pillows and other items needed to improve the Children's Accommodation. 5. Toiletries Soap, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Washing Powder, Sanitary products and other personal-care items. 6. Financial Support Financial Donations will help us meet the daily operational needs of the School and Orphanage Home and pay the Teachers and Staff YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE We welcome support from individuals, Churches, Companies, NGOs, Foundations, Philanthropists and Organisations who would like to partner with GEHISCO. Support can be given in Cash or in Kind. Every Child deserves the Opportunity to go back to School with Dignity, Confidence and the Materials they need to Learn.
