Tanoso Sanitation Exercise Successfully Completed as MCE Commends Residents and Stakeholders The Tano North Municipal Assembly has successfully undertaken a sanitation exercise in Tanoso as part of efforts to promote a clean, safe, and healthy environment within the Municipality. The exercise, led by the Municipal Assembly, brought together traditional authorities, the youth, residents, and other stakeholders who participated actively in cleaning and improving the surroundings of the community. In a statement following the Exercise, the Municipal Chief Executive for Tano North, Hon. Pius Opoku, expressed his appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the initiative. The MCE particularly commended Nananom for their exemplary leadership and mobilisation efforts, as well as the youth of Tanoso for their impressive turnout and demonstration of community spirit. He also thanked residents of Tanoso for their cooperation and active participation in the exercise. According to Hon. Pius Opoku, maintaining a clean Environment is fundamental to good health and sustainable development. He noted that the sanitation exercise forms part of the Assembly's broader commitment to ensuring that communities across Tano North remain clean, safe, and healthy for residents and visitors. The MCE subsequently appealed to residents and all citizens to make proper sanitation a daily responsibility by maintaining clean surroundings and adopting good waste management practices. The successful Exercise is expected to reinforce community participation in sanitation and strengthen efforts by the Tano North Municipal Assembly to improve environmental health across the Municipality.
